CRISTINA MONTALVÃO SARMENTO, Associate Professor with Aggregation at the University of Lisbon (ISCSP-ULisboa). She is also General Secretary of the Association of Portuguese Language Universities and Director of the Political Observatory. PhD in Political Science, specialty in Political Theory (2004) NOVA - FCSH, Postgraduate in Philosophy, FLUL (1999); Graduate in Political Science, ISCSP-UTL (1994); II Cycle in Geostrategy and International Relations, IEHEI; Nice, France (1987); Degree in History (1997) FLUL; Degree in Law (1986) FCH-UCP. A member of several Political Science Associations, she is currently a board member of the RC15 – IPSA and was recently elected to the board of the IAU – International Association of Universities (UNESCO).
